Bets: November 5, 2013

Record before tonight: 11- 9
Last night: 2 - 2

Assist of the season this early in the season? I think so.

2 - 2 last night, .500, 50%, average. Thanks to the Minnesota Timberwolves who came back last night against the Cavs, my friend was mad at me the whole game because I convinced to him bet on the Wolves, who thank god came through. Kevin Love, who I knew not to bet against, missed the game winner three. Memphis won the game but didn't beat the spread, which I should have expected. And I don't know what the hell happened to Houston last night, who absolutely got killed against Chris Paul and the Clippers.

Miami @ Toronto
Spread:

No comments necessary.

Pick: LeBron James

Utah @ Brooklyn
Spread: -10 Brooklyn

I hate double digit spreads because garbage time in the NBA means nothing but can change the points at the end. Brooklyn hasn't been playing well to start off the season and is still figuring out chemistry and spacing, while a young Utah team hasn't won a game this season yet.

Pick: N/A

Indiana @ Detroit
Spread: -2 Indiana

Indiana is the only undefeated team remaining in the league and looks to make their record 4 - 0 tonight. Detroit should match up well against Indy's bigs and is athletic enough to run with Paul George and company. This should make for an interesting, competitive game, but I'm looking at the more experienced Pacer team pulling away.

Pick: Indiana

Charlotte @ New York
Spread: -9 New York

Another unpredictable spread. I don't know Charlotte's back ups well enough to see if they can keep it close during garbage time. New York doesn't have the best bench so I can see Charlotte coming to within 9 in the end.

Wow. Poor Ramon Sessions.

Fans hate Bargnani.

Pick: Charlotte

Phoenix @ New Orleans
Spread: -9 New Orleans

Another bad spread. I don't understand why New Orleans is picked to beat a surprising Suns team by so many points because Phoenix actually has a better record than New Orleans and has been proving themselves every night so far. The Pelicans, on the other hand, are still getting it together. Eric Bledsoe has been killing it, and even made a game winning, buzzer beater three the other night.

Pick: Phoenix

Lakers @ Dallas
Spread: -8.5 Dallas

These damn spreads. I think the Lakers will come within eight points by the end of the fourth quarter.

Pick: Lakers

San Antonio @ Denver
Spread: -4 San Antonio

Denver hasn't had an impressive start, succumbing to the predictions of most analysts, and haven't won a game yet. Though they have home court advantage tonight in the Mile High City, San Antonio is 2 - 1 and should cruise to a win tonight.

Pick: San Antonio

Houston @ Portland
Spread: -1.5 Portland

Houston got killed last night and screwed up my parlay, along with Boston. Even though they are playing away and on the second game of a back to back I am still picking them for tonight. They will rebound from last night and come through for the win.

Fans love Howard.

Pick: Houston

Atlanta @ Sacramento
Spread: -2 Sacramento

It surprises me that the Kings are picked to win this game, let alone by two points. Both teams are 1 -2, nothing impressive, and the Al Horford-Boogie Cousins matchup should make for a good one. Still, I see Atlanta pulling away in the end with their more experienced bigs.

Pick: Atlanta
