Update: Steve Nash had a less than stellar debut with the Lakers tonight, shooting 0 - 2, but did get six assists. The Nuggets beat the spread and I was right but apparently I clicked on the wrong thing when I made the bet so I still lost. But we'll count it as a win anyway. Four players on the Nuggies scored in double digits; Ty Lawson scored 15 points, 6 assists and 10 rebounds. Pau Gasol and Nick Young shot 4 - 13 and 4 - 16, respectively.

The Lakers are coming off a win from last night, Xavier Henry scoring 29 points. What is up with these random players going off? The preseason is stupid to predict, and bet on, but I'm going to go with the Nuggets because it is almost the same core group of guys from last year, sans Andre Iguodola, and even though they have a new coach, Brian Shaw was promoted from within and has been the defensive coach for Denver the last couple of years. Los Angeles will be more fatigued but Denver will be rusty. Maybe Andre Miller's hair will score 29 points tonight.
