Thunder Stop Grizzlies' Comeback

Russell Westbrook had quite a dramatic game tonight. He started off lighting it up, backing Jerryd Bayless and Michael Conley down every chance he could, and with Kevin Durant being Kevin Durant, the Thunder were up over twenty through halftime.

Zach Randolph, on the other hand, couldn't find the basket. He was 0 - 7 in the first half but had over fifteen rebounds. Marc Gasol wasn't playing well either, going 1 - 4, and Memphis looked lifeless. They were under manned with Tayshaun Prince, Ed Davis and Austin Daye having to pass physicals before playing, and were settling for the three point shot far too much.

Then Russell Westbrook got upset with Thabo Sefelosha. The two proceeded to have a screaming match, finishing with Westbrook storming into the locker room.

Memphis capitalized.

The Grizzlies went on to a 26 - 9 scoring run over the Thunder in the beginning of the third quarter, with Zach Randolph looking like a man on a mission. If you recall the last time these two teams played, Z-Bo and Kendrick Perkins had an altercation that led to them trying to fight after the game. Randolph poured in nine points and it was a game again.

Westbrook came back to the court sometime in the third, sitting on the end of the bench. He looked upset and didn't play any of the third quarter. Then he decided to wake up.

Memphis kept it a game but never came close enough in the fourth. Durant carried the load because of a pouting Westbrook and finished with 27 points, going 10 - 16. Randolph led a surge in the third that Durant was able to overcome in the fourth and the game finished with the Thunder winning 106 - 89.
